Two New White Sites Launch in Kampong Bugis & River Valley

Two New White site SINGAPORE ( THE BUSINESS TIMES)- URA) – The Urban Redevelopment Authority has created a scope of white site at Kampong Bugis and a hotel site at River Valley Road on the Govt’s reserve list.

However These sites listed on the reserve list of GSL(Government Land Sales)- 2nd half programme. Most importantly, a few days ago it has taken out over the first half 2020 GLS(Government Land Sales) programme.  These reserve list sites basically accelerated for tender only. Whether a developer attempts to bid at a price suitable to the Government. This white place is now a big topic to all kinds of developer.

Two New White Sites in Kampong Bugis

The Kampong Bugis site, at the front of the Kallang River, will be open for sale soon. More importantly it will be delivered to renowned developer to procced with a tremendous project. And it has told that the development implement district-wide car lite initiatives and sustainable urban solutions.

The Site’s area is 8.2 hectare ( ha). And it can easily ok for 3,000 housing units and more than 45,000 square metres (sq m) of gross floor area (GFA) for others uses. For example retail, apartments, office and for public uses. Specially the whole site has a maximum GFA of 390,000sq m.

The Urban Redevelopment Authority has also showed an option scheme. The Scheme shows a flexible payment and some phased development. The whole boundaries is measered to be completed over 11 to 13 years.

On the other hand, the 1.02 ha River Valley site. It is located above Fort Canning MRT Station and situated between Fort Canning Park and Singapore River. And also near The Avenir Condominium. Which is a new launched Luxury condo in Singapore District 9. The Avenir Showflat is on going. You can also check The Avenir Floor Plan to find out your preferred home. This has a maximum GFA of 28,666 sq m and can easily support 530 hotel rooms.

In a view to attracts the developer URA offered an exceptional concept for these two sites. URA said it would be a best option- which is a redevelopment to its usual concept and price revenue tender approach.
